Sam, Erica and I went down to Seattle for a short visit to spend some time with Kristina. I strayed from my gluten-free, sugar-free diet regimen to partake in some cuisine that just can't be found in Fairbanks. We basically ate our way through Seattle, planned our activities around meals. Anyone that surprised?

I made 3 trips to the airport: to pick up Sam, then Erica, and then when we left.

Kristina and I had grand plans to ride a tandem bike for the Seattle to Portland bike classic. We decided it would be a good idea to practice riding a tandem bike since neither one of us had done it before. Good thing we tried it. It sucked. I also forgot to bring my tennis shoes to the bike shop and only had my flip flops on. There was screaming involved and some trust issues (Kristina?! you don't trust your big sister?). And I tried to stop the bike with my foot and took off the top of my big toe. *ouch*. Good thing Dr. Sam was with us. Needless to say, we are no longer doing STP this year. Not because of what will forever be known as the tandem bike incident, but because neither one of us have trained for a 200 mile bike ride. Maybe next year.

Found this on the sidewalk in Capitol Hill one night. HAH! I guess you don't get to keep your clothes if you get raptured.
 |
| If you find these, it's 6:00PM local time and I have been raptured. Enjoy the new clothes. Jesus left them. |

The weather was awesome, it didn't rain while we were there. The traffic and parking was a little crazy and I'm not sure if I could live in Seattle again but I will definitely visit frequently! Thanks Kristina for playing hostess! Great to see everyone. I miss you guys.
