Lower Angel Creek Cabin

I booked the Lower Angel Creek Cabin when I was ~4.5 months pregnant, during the 2nd trimester when I was feeling great, not really thinking how I was going to feel 4 months later. I managed to ski the 3 miles to the cabin and almost 2 miles out. Dave schlepped out all our gear on this snow machine. And then gave me a ride the last mile back to the trail head. I wasn't anticipating not being able to fit into my ski boots -my ankles and feet have been swollen for weeks! I can't fit into most of my shoes right now! Despite my issues with my lower appendages, we had a great weekend with friends at the cabin.
Story time!

Mandy drove down from Anchorage to join us!
Another use for the cowl neck scarf - baby belly warmer!

Gavin & Uncle Dave

Gavin did great. Now we have high expectations for our son - cabin trips at 18 months? No problem!

Munchkins etc.

Heather, Coal and Teal, and the Bentzens, and the Masons came into town a few weekends ago. The one nice thing about being one of the later ones to have kids is that we can watch our friends go through the process first :). Our friends Julie & Lincoln are due 2 days after us!

Hard to believe that we're on the same schedule!

Coal, Teal, Gavin & Torleif. This is before Teal kissed Gavin.

And after Teal kissed Gavin. Teal rejected. Gavin horrified!

I think Gavin is still in shock. Look at Teal's grin!

How do you get kids to stay still for a photo?!
Great to see everyone!

Just a few shots from our 'Baby Moon' (I didn't know that a vacation before baby had a name).

Should really say BUMPS plural
And I thought I was having a hard time getting around a month ago. I'm definitely having a hard time getting around now! We had a great time relaxing on the beach, swimming in the ocean and eating fresh fruit and veggies. We timed the trip well - a little warmer and lots more day light at home now. Spring should be right around the corner. Or maybe a couple corners...
