Due Date

Today is Baby Safine's due date and he's still in the womb! I'm trying to be patient and enjoy the time that we have together before he arrives but it's a little difficult since I've been pretty uncomfortable lately. Unfortunately my feet and legs have been swelling which limits my time spent on my feet. Must be nature's way of getting women to not think about the birthing process - at this point, I just want him out!

40 weeks. I'm surprised I haven't toppled over yet.

Dear Baby, guess what I did at 39 weeks?

Don't worry. I didn't actually participate in B'Arctic Ma'am this year. I just sent the gals on their way. In case you don't recognize them, from L to R: Ellie, Brook, me, Adrian and Katie.

I'm amazed at how quickly time has gone by. We're ready (mostly ready) for you kiddo, whenever you want to show up!

Hand made

Kristina and Mom are incredible seamstresses. Mom made my clothes when I was younger and all my high school dance dresses, our Halloween costumes etc. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of those genes but nice to have relatives and friends that are crafty in that department!

We're looking forward to using all these goodies! And all the hand-me downs and presents that we've received from everyone. We are incredibly grateful. ~ 2 weeks until due date!
