Surf & Turf

Dave met up with Mark in Valdez and they went hunting for deer and fishing for halibut this past week in Prince William Sound. The deer hunting was unsuccessful but they racked up the fish!!

Dave hauled in a 130 lb halibut (63"), 46.2 lb lingcod, and some Pacific cod.
Mark caught two 50 lb halibut, a rockfish (can't remember the name of it right now), and a yelloweye rockfish.

It was a wet and rainy trip but they had lots of fun, here are the pictures:

Hey Dave!! I ran onto your blog.. Yes, random story of how I found it.. heard from a friend of a friend who knew someone's uncle's father. Anyway, another blog to read! aws yea!

And dang.. that's a big halibut. All I remember from last time I caught a large halibut, was damn my arm is tired (200 feet is way too deep!).
