Looking for the Steller's eider

There's a female Steller's eider in Resurrection Bay. Which is a rare sighting. Sure, we have captive birds at the SeaLife Center but it's always great to see animals in their natural habitat. Saturday morning we went down to Spring Creek and looked around for her.
We didn't see her. But there were loads of other birds on the water: pigeon guillemot, surf scoters, harlequin ducks, long-tailed ducks.
We took a short walk along the beach.
