I was in Anchorage a couple weeks ago for the
Alaska Marine Science Symposium. Adrian and I went to Heather & Paul's to meet baby Teal. Congratulations you guys!

I took care of Peter while Ann was in a meeting on Monday morning. The two of us hung out with Adrian and Gavin. It's been a while since I changed a diaper and bottle fed an infant.

Better start booking day care early for the Sea Duck Conference this Fall :)
The conference was intense. Packed with talks, poster sessions, meetings, interspersed with trying to catch up with friends - sometimes only getting in a quick hug and, 'great to see you!'. I'm exhausted and would have liked a week to catch my breath before classes started but no such luck. Suitcase is back in storage though - no traveling for a while!
