Moose Hunt #2

was a bust - no moose. just lots of weird weather and fall colors starting to get getting.

Dave 'Strong-Arm' Safine portaging our canoe
silver salmon in the little creeks and streams - really amazing to watch them. incredible animals. and to think that I was technically a fishery biologist for only just 1 year...
we stayed dry for the most part
stayed at a really nice camp site - I think Ann & Dustin were just there right before we were
accidentally woke Princess Emma up from her nap
I often wonder what goes on inside her head.
not sure what she's watching but she spent a lot of time at the edge of the lake.
watching...
right before the hail storm

what's a double crested cormorant doing inland?
wood frog!
the rain has started (started back at the beginning of the month) and it really hasn't stopped in Seward. let's hope this means we get a good snow year for skiing!

We're hoping the Masons will let us come up and visit next month and go on another moose hunt...:)
