Tiehacker Mountain finally

Tuula & George took me up Tiehacker Mountain on Sunday. My first trip up that peak. 4372 ft. 5.5 hours. Great company and another amazing weather day. I caught this moon set over the summit of Mt. Marathon that morning.view of Bear Lake and George
once you get above the trees, the trail follows the cliff edge
we saw goats!
the red arrow is where this goat was perched

Tuula was my supervisor at the SeaLife Center.
did you notice the difference in clothing? Can you tell who overheats easily? and vice versa?
we had amazing views of glaciers
more evidence of goats

I'm glad I got a chance to up before moving up to Fairbanks! The weather since has been wet and windy. I've been busy at work getting ready for the start of a new project and busy at home trying to get a head start on packing up the house. Dave's out hunting with Josh but they should be back by Sunday!
