I've never been to the Tanana Valley State Fair. Or any state fair that I can remember in my adult life. And I wanted to take Leo to the demolition derby, never having been to one of those either. So we left Max and Noah with Nana and ventured out with Leo to meet Mandy at the fair. We mostly checked out the animals and the petting zoo, which is always a big hit with Leo. Surprisingly, Leo wasn't that into the derby. I thought that since he is such a vehicle addict that the derby would be fun for him to watch. But at age 2, I think it was just too loud for him. He had the most fun just running around the fair like a maniac.
