Why do we live here?

It's been a cold cold winter. We woke up to -45 at the house this morning. Every winter I ask myself, 'Why do we live here again?'. Thankful that we have a house with running water, and a super efficient wood stove, and that we leave for Maui soon.

Emma has been snuggled up to the wood stove all morning. So hot that's she's panting but refuses to move.
